The Government has committed to a renewed drive to deal with troubled families. Resources (a results based funding scheme) has been made available to incentivise and encourage Councils and their partners to develop new ways of working with families which focus on lasting positive change, reducing costs and improving outcomes.
What we offer
We support Councils and their partners to identify, predict and manage troubled families. Our data matching, data sharing and risk assessment platform allows clients to identify and predict troubled families based on national guidance and critically, bespoke expansion to include local criteria.
We, in conjunction with our partners Interface Associates, enable clients to provide more effective support, cut and prevent waste and duplication and build a business case around cost savings, improved outcomes and efficiencies.
Our approach
To support the implementation and operation of the troubled families agenda we can deliver up to four strands of activity.
- We identify troubled families across any given geographical area (statistically matching data from multiple sources) and measure improved outcomes and changed behaviour;
- We use agreed criteria to predict and identify potential and emerging troubled families (we use risk models to identify the likelihood of families suffering poor outcomes) and enable the generation of alerts for individuals and families that are becoming more chaotic;
- We make the right people aware of issues and changes in circumstance including staff across public sector agencies (Orion) and citizens (SpringVault) based on cyclical flows of data;
- We create an evidence base for policy makers to develop more robust commissioning strategies based on local evolving risks (Insight)
Our solutions are deployed on a secure ISO27001 data centre that is being accredited to sit on the secure GovConnect network. Because of this approach the solution does not require a big technology integration / implementation project at client sites and can be implemented rapidly.
